William Land Park

William Land Park is a large park where the Sacramento Zoo, Funderland and Fairytale Land reside. There is plenty of room for very large family parties, with many picnic benches and barbeques. There are also lots of soccer and baseball fields and plain grassy areas for preschoolers to run and play on. There are gardens, including a rock garden, jogging paths, a small amphitheatre, a golf course and fishing lakes with wild ducks, preschoolers can throw crackers at.

Sacramento Zoo

The Sacramento zoo is a great place for preschoolers to be introduced to wild animals. The zoo has wonderful exhibits, including a brand new veterinary hospital, but is small enough not wear out preschool-aged feet.

Fairytale Town

Fairytale land is buit perfectly for preschoolers. This two and half acre park is a giant playground built around fairytales, nursery rhymes and other childhood stories. It’s a great place to let your preschooler run around and wear themselves out.

Funderland

Funderland has small amusement rides and pony rides for preschoolers. The rides are perfect for young children and include favorites such as the Funderland Train, and a Carousel.
