Theresa Halvorsen - Sacramento Correspondent
I went to college at Sonoma State, where I met my husband. I graduated with a BA in psychology and after the birth of our twin boys, my husband and I moved back to Sacramento, Elk Grove specifically.
I’m a childbirth educator and teach hospital-based classes in the evenings and on the weekends to expectant couples. While my sons are in school, I’m a freelance writer, specializing in childbirth and parenting. Be sure to check out my other PreschoolRock site, Preschool Science and Nature.
One of the things I love about Sacramento is the climate. While it is hot during the summer, there are many outdoor activities to keep you cool and entertained. And during the winter, it’s still warm enough to enjoy everything Sacramento has to offer.
I’m very excited to be your correspondent for Sacramento. My sons and I can’t wait to share with you the preschool-friendly places we’ve found in Sacramento, giving you the ins and outs of raising a preschooler in this great city.
